Privacy Policy

Brackify helps people create, manage, and share tournaments. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, authentication provider, and optional profile details. When you use Brackify, we store tournament content you create or join, such as tournament names, player rosters, team names and colors, brackets, scores, invitation codes, and optional tournament images.

How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts, operate the tournament features you request, synchronize updates between our mobile and web apps, provide support, and help protect Brackify from misuse. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

Service providers

Brackify uses Firebase for authentication and database services, Cloudinary to host organizer-uploaded images, and Vercel to host the web app. If advertising is enabled on the web app, Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to display and measure ads; see Google’s privacy policy for more information. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and under their respective privacy and security commitments.

Sharing and visibility

Public tournament information can be visible to people who access that tournament. Private tournament information is shared with the organizer and people who are invited or join using a valid invite code. Please do not add sensitive personal information to tournament names, rosters, or notes.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and tournament information while it is needed to operate Brackify. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Profile in the mobile app or Account settings on the web. Organizers can also remove tournaments, teams, and players in the app.

Children

Brackify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
